Rewilding is a meditative ecology game about growing a forest between long stretches of cryogenic hibernation. The story follows a character who gives up their chronological life for this job, and [explores how it feels to experience decades of incremental work all at once.]

Gameplay involves a trial and error approach to restoration ecology with a focus on how individual plants contribute to the overall health of an ecosystem. The game seeks to offer a unique perspective on humanity’s relationship with the earth in leveraging speculative technology as a means to better cooperate with nature
